About Imposantos
The story of Imposantos
Imposantos is an honest, willing black stallion by Wynton out of an elite mare by Krack C. As a three-year-old he won the VSN Trophy under Bart Veeze; half a year later he finished third in the Pavo Cup final for four-year-olds. In the autumn of 2017 he was approved with 89 points and became KWPN performance test champion: every part was marked 9, only the canter 8.5.
With Bart Veeze he won the Anemone Stallion Competition at L, M and Z level, became Dutch champion at ZZ-Zwaar and progressed to Grand Prix. In October 2024 he moved to Dinja van Liere. Together they made their international Grand Prix debut in 2025, won the CDI3* Grand Prix at Indoor Friesland and scored a personal best of 71.798% at the World Cup show in Frankfurt.
His sire Wynton competed at Grand Prix level under Madeleine Witte-Vrees. The dam line also produced the approved stallions Landeur and Tolando.
From the jury report
“Imposantos is an honest, reliable and uncomplicated stallion. He shows a great deal of willingness to work and is very easy to work with. The canter is powerful and uphill, with a great deal of self-carriage and scope.”
